What is included?

Paired Fire Prevention Passages: Two passages with information related to fire prevention. They can be read as a whole group or small group. They can also be printed for each student to highlight the information they want to include in their own writing.

Graphic Organizers: 8 different graphic organizers to choose from or use for differentiation.)

Student Directions: 4 directions to choose from or use for differentiation.

  1. Used with one of the categories on regular lined paper.
  2. Used with one of the categories on newspaper-style paper.
  3. Used with all three of the categories on regular lined paper.
  4. Used with all three categories on newspaper-style paper.

Writing Template Paper for final copy: 7 different writing templates to choose from or use for differentiation. There are regular lined paper and newspaper-style templates. There are two different size line spacing. They all have boxes for images.

Graphics or Pictures: There are two sets (one for small boxes and one for large boxes) of graphics to use in the boxes of the writing templates. Students should choose images that represent their writing.

How-To Writing Rubric: There is a rubric included for the how-to writing to make grading easy!

Bulletin Board Title: Do you want to post student work in the hallway or on a bulletin board? I included a title for you to use.)
