With many school districts offering online classes, the Coronavirus and flu forcing students to stay home, and homeschool becoming more and more popular, Rockin’ Resources wants to make sure teachers and homeschools can still stick to the standards and have what they need to be successful. This post will show how to support digital learning with quality resources.

How Do You Send Files Electronically?

There are many ways teachers can send files electronically. Depending on the resource, it can be assigned to the student by:

  • Placing the assignment in google drive or dropbox.
  • Emailing the student the assignment with an attachment.
  • Putting the assignment in Google Classroom.

What Resources are Available for Digital Learning?

Below you will find the resources available for Digital Learning. Some links will take you to other blog posts explaining the resources and some links will take you to the resource in our store. I hope you find something useful!

Rockin’ Resources is happy to provide an ALBUM OF FREE RESOURCES to you!

Step-By-Step Reading Skills

point of view

We have several Step-by-Step Reading Skills that are standard-based for Grades 4-5. Each of our reading skill units come with three “Student Versions” in the form of PDFs to easily be sent to students. The three versions are differentiated according to different reading levels. Each student version is basically the teacher version minus the lesson plans, printable interactive notebook pages, answer keys, and tests.

What if I want to send students just a couple of pages at a time?

No problem! The PDFs are specifically set up so teachers can easily extract individual pages from the PDFs if they only want students to see or work on specific pages.

You can read more about these reading units HERE.

You can purchase these reading units HERE. I offer some free reading resources in my Album of Free Resources.

What is the best news ever? They are standard-based and ALL reading standards are covered! Each of our reading comprehension passages come with three “Student Versions” in the form of PDFs to easily be sent to students. The three versions are differentiated according to their reading level. Each student version is basically the teacher version minus the answer keys.
